I can’t speak for others sellers but I decided to go with Sleevie Wonder when I was in the same predicament and REALLY enjoy their 2m close fit seal up’s. Although I know most people prefer something a little thicker and not with seal up.... but these are so slick that you can’t even tell they’re in a sleeve.

i just feel i have to at least partially replace these mofi sleeves so the texture is right and i kinda want a flap sleeve because less bulk while fitting the same amount of even huge records

Hmm, I've been happy with those ones, but yeah it is annoying when you have a gatefold that is too big!

@dhodo yeah... they also seem a bit too stiff.. so i want to know if there is a good alternative before i buy a new one

I use the sleeve city ultimate outer 2.5s. The 5.0s are really nice and clear but too pricey for how many records I have. Bags Unlimited also has a bunch of options. I don't have any issues with the Sleeve Citys--no crinkling for me.

@MikeH those are what I use as well, I think they are fantastic for the price

they just... feel kinda too thin and they feel like if i put a gatefold on the sleeve will just permantly be stuck at that size

The 5.0s are nice but really expensive and even tighter for double LP. Maybe check out some of Sleevie Wonder’s options. There’s not really one good option for everything. I’ve gotten different sleeves for gatefolds and single LPs and box sets it ends up being a bit of a pain. I dislike the ones with flaps too on top

@MikeH, you know I use nothing but the 5.0's and haven't had any problem, also keep in mind they do stretch a bit over time. I think I have like 3 albums I can't use them with, things like No Code and Heathen. For the inners I use the Ultimate Inners with rice paper, makes them just stiff enough to not crinkle

@AnthonyI I do really like the 5.0s but they are just too steep for me price-wise. They are about twice as expensive as the 2.5s and I have way too many records haha. I also recall them being almost TOO stiff with the bottoms of the sleeves being pointy. I should try them again though...i store my records behind the sleeves too and sorta remember them just being too tight for gatefolds.

i'll probably just do the sleeve city shit again.. i dunno why i care about the texture and look and they dont... feel premium or something... like it feels too soft and slim and if there is even a small bump i will probably stay on for a while
