I did that earlier this year. Looks so much better. @Mather I cut a few millimeters off the top, fold them out and put them inside the sleeve, usually horizontal so they don't get in the way of the record.

the fauxbi fits inside the sleeve of Spiritualized at least...I've also contemplated removing these from all my records that have them...Mondo/Death Waltz loves them, too.
