Beat Cult of Lamb. Favorite indie in a good while. Highly recommend.

Now tackling Hollow Knight and continuing to chip away at Alan Wake 2 in between NBA playoff games.
Alan Wake 2 is on my list, but I think after CO:E33 I'm gonna jump on Forza, and then after that it should be time for F125...so I'll get to it sometime between now and the end of my PS5's lifecycle.

no, but I did recently beat that one
He's the one that gives you Cheater.

I beat him last night. Maelle's level 3 gradient did 2.2 million in damage to Sprong and killed him when he had like 80% health left. I was like, whoa, awesome. I wasn't expecting the battle to be that easy or over that fast. Gommaged his ass.

Accidentally triggered an encounter with À On. Wasn't planning on attempting this battle for awhile yet based on how badly I got beat when I first discovered this boss when flying around. Somehow this box blindsided me from behind or above3 and wasn't visible on my screen to trigger the encounter.

Was able to beat it though. Yay.

Edit, the name of the boss was Serphenphare. À On was the trophy.

I’ve been consider hallow knight for a while now. I’m pretty picky about metroidvanias and been afraid that it may be too hard of a game from what Ive heard. May just go for it the next time it’s on sale on switch

Late stage game is quite a challenge, but it really is one of the best games ever made!

Hollow Knight is one of my favorite games of all time. SO GOOD. The soundtrack takes it to the next level. It is tough but fair, boss fights can make you pull your hair out but they're very patterned so you can figure out when to attack with patience. It's so, so, so good.

damn... I'm not doing damage like that. I'm in the 400-800k range on my big attacks

I normally get in that range. But every once in a while I get a big one. Being in Virtuose Stance helps with that and then I wonder if critical hit comes into play as well as stacking up different buffs.

Most of the time I don't hit a big boss like that, but I have done it twice now.

You get 200% damage in Virtuose Stance, so that 800k would turn into 1.6 million. My weapon of choice that I powered up switches to Virtuose Stance after each counter.
