Oh, if anyone is curious...

Edit: That post was 7/29/19, since I cut the bottom off.
That’s really too bad. I picked up the Matthew Sweet when they were announced and the two FBB albums a few months ago. Really good pressings, particularly the Matthew Sweet stuff and worth grabbing before they disappear.

Let's Get The Show On The Road 5:32

First time on vinyl. 6 disc box set. In looking at how this September 1997 tour was structured, this could have been a show to skip - or maybe not.

This was the fourth show in a row to open the tour, on a Monday night, involved crossing an international border, at a real small place so it might be real crowded. All of that could keep some from making the trip, but for others, those were exactly the reasons to go...and possibly collect the rewards for doing so.

The band just seems to have a knack to know when the fans have gone out of their way and really paid some dues to make it. Or when a local crowd gets it. In either case, and in terms of this Montreal 1997 show, both cases, Widespread Panic gets off on that and then seems to go that extra mile.

I really hope Billie Joe is still sober, but the only way I can explain this is either "manic" or possibly "drug fueled" posting.
I'm hoping so. It's 2019 and "tea-bagging" is somehow still in popular bands' vernacular. Just feels like a forced overcorrection to today's climate. Calibrate, Billiam. Calibrate.

I just grabbed the Matthew Sweet albums. Almost didn't notice the 100% fun item is a CD. That would have 100% sucked.

Also released Carbondale 2000, a favorite Mikey show

Holy hella box set
.....I'm starting to wonder how Prince would feel about all this.

I’ll be getting this on CD like i did the Purple Rain set. That was one of the last things he worked on (PR)... I have a feeling he would have been doing the same. His death threw a big wrench in his plans, but he was pretty much set to start deluging the market with his back catalog. Only real difference is he would have been hitting us with new music a couple of times a year too.

Don’t even want to imagine the price of the Super Deluxe Edition. 10lps and 5 cds plus a dvd? Ouch
