The Blue Note Thread

I guess you could have gotten a subscription to the entire series when it started through DeAgostini...I totally would have done that had I known. Tried to get in touch with DeAgostini to see if there is a way to still purchase any through them directly but haven't been able to get in touch with anybody. Some of those titles are absolutely fantastic. I saw somebody on eBay had the Joe Pass "For Django" record and that is another amazing one. It just doesn't make sense for me to buy any from a seller in the UK unless they are selling more than one otherwise shipping is crazy.
Yeah it would have been a fantastic series to have signed up to. The list is impressing - Jazz At 33⅓ rpm

I took the plunge on bidding on two higher end represses of albums on eBay that I do not have yet...will update if I end up winning them...I have been very curious to try these pressings out though and just so happens two albums I have really been wanting are up for auction.

DeAgostini jazz or some variant of that. That Blue Train is from my local record shop! The ones I have purchased were all from the UK so I ordered in batches of 4 or 5 to make shipping worth it.

Ah there they are... they don't let you save on shipping at all, huh? Oh and one of you just snatched the last Real McCoy out from under me!

I have to go back and check. I think I got a bit of a shipping combination for my first batch but maybe the seller caught on and stopped doing combined shipping.

Agreed, I’m so excited for the next three to land next Friday! Indestructible & Una Mas?!?! Yes please!
I had them both on preorder but found a King press of Una Mas and then just scored a very early press of Indestructible last night for $30. Jutta Hipp is my next new reissue I have on order!

No love for Hub-Tones? Hubbard, Hancock, Spaulding. Excited about that one.
