Wharfedale Linton 85th Anniversary Review

I am not looking forward to setting it up tonight but no it'll be on its own surface isolated. I'm assuming it's better for it to be on its own 2x1 instead of with the rest of the gear on the 2x4

I guess I could put the "to listen to" on there

I don’t think it’d make too much difference but the bigger one likely will be more stable.

More than anything the little kallax next to the big one would just screw with my need for symmetry so I’d have to go out and buy another little one to go one the other side…

Lol putting the tv there instead of over the fireplace was accepting that there would be no symmetry

Just need to connect everything and make sure the tracking force is right. Hopefully there's no noise from the surge protector

I use boxes like these to put my power strips/surge protectors in. I like the fact it pulls the unit out from the wall a little and gives space for cable drops plus it tidies away a lot of power cable mess.

That's neat!

Yeah I saw them in an organisation shop (yes I really am the type of person that loves those places) and couldn’t believe that I hadn’t ever seen such a thing before. I have two of that exact one behind my tv unit for the tv stuff and an enormous one from a different brand (because the ps audio dectet conditioner is so big) behind my left hand Linton.

@Joe Mac @Mather please remind me. If I ground the turn table to the preamp do I need to ground the prima Luna to the pre amp too?

No. You’re grounding the tonearm of your table. So you can ground it to the chassis of the phono stage. The phono stage itself doesn’t need any additional grounding beyond what is already designed into it.
