Online Vinyl Deals

This may be obvious to most of you, but with this 30% U Discover, no reason to bite on any of the Blue Note sales unless you're hitting the free shipping threshold.
UDiscover discount is not working on the pre-orders, so if you want one of those titles the Blue Note sale is compelling if you plan on picking up more than one (you likely need 4 to get to free shipping). Only one title and the shipping cost offsets most of the savings.

Okonokos for ~$28 is a stupid good deal

Have you looked at them on JPC.de? Usually cheaper there than AS even with shipping and discounts…not sure if AS has a BF sale. Think the most I’ve seen them do is a blanket 15% off.

JPC’s prices include VAT which gets taken off once you make an account and enter a US shipping address. I think the 1LP SCs cost $28 shipped
Thanks but comparing costs and it's definitely cheaper to stick with Acoustic Sounds

New 40% off discount code at VMP: 2023Discord40

Good through cyber Monday. A lot of things have sold out recently, including the spiritual jazz titles.
On the fence here as a non member. I've had a handful of VMP from the past few years in my Discogs wantlist, and with this after tax and shipping, coming out to about $30 a title, which is pretty good for VMP, but again it is $30/title during heavy vinyl acquisition month.... hmmm!

As a heads up, just did a quick look. Most single LP SC titles at acoustic sounds are $42 plus tax. SC titles are 27 euro at JPC. Shipping on two to the US is 7 euros. So you’re looking at $68USD shipped for two SC titles at JPC versus $84+tax and shipping from Chad. Even if you hit the free shipping at AS, it’s still cheaper per title at JPC

Another one:

$32

Oh ok, I see the price dropped by a bunch when adding to my cart. I was mainly looking at Herbie Hancock's Crossings which is a bit cheaper than most SC releases on Acoustic Sounds' website ($35) and was also thinking about Herbie's Man-Child which is a bit more expensive. But like you said, I got both at JPC for $68, shipping included.

Thanks for the tip, I think this is the way I'll end up going. I checked and last year Acoustic Sounds only did a 10% off sale on Black Friday so if they do that again it still wouldn't be cheaper than importing straight from Germany. Weird how that works out.

Yea—the prices include VAT and that disappears once you put in a US address. JPC’s shipping prices are super reasonable too. They are my go-to for buying any EU releases or speakers corner reissues. The only slight drawback is sometimes the shipping time can take a bit but I’ve never had an issue. Great shop though

The last Pavement box got down to really cheap levels too now it goes for over $100 it’s a worthwhile investment (also, the music kick ass too).
