I’m so happy with all those prices. Like 2LP Velvet Rope and Janet for under $17 is such a great deal and getting $10 for Writing’s on the Wall is an amazing deal as well. Paying only $10 for Vince Staples, Tory Y Moi is so good as well and the free shipping is the cherry on top, especially as I’m in Australia!

That is a great deal. I’ve got 5 of the new JJ REs and they’re good quality. And I have OGs of both you’ve gotten and have no problem spinning the REs instead. You’ll be happy with them.

I received the new Carly Rae Jepsen record damaged. Sent it back got a replacement. This was the box. Inside was the record flopping around. Yep, warped. Getting a refund.

I really hope they package my box really well like Amazon! Amazon is definitely the best company when it comes to vinyl packaging in my opinion!

I really hope Urban Outfitters wait until they get the Janet Jackson records and then ship all my vinyl together, instead of receiving two different packages! 🤞

If my box comes crushed, then my heart is going to get crushed and I don’t want my heart crushed when I’m home in winter because I don’t know winter lol 🥶

I've only ever bought vinyl from UO once. They sent the one record I purchased (I think it was Beyonce's S/T) in one of those plastic bags you'd get a t-shirt in. I kid you not - no extra protection. Just a record "protected" by a garment shipping bag. Of course, I returned it. For a refund - I didn't trust them. Of course, this was a few years back so at least they've upgraded to crushed boxes. I'm not consciously boycotting them - just haven't steered toward them again.

Got a Joji record sent to me in one of those bags, with the record inside the bag placed between two pieces of taped cardboard. Corners were exposed. I was stunned that it wasn't destroyed.

If Urban Outfitters send the records with little protection and they are squashed and then want me to send them back to get a replacement/refund, then it will be the end of me and Urban Outfitters.

But then I probably won’t be able to resist the Britney Spears’ Blackout exclusive 😂🤷‍♂️

I wish Urban Outfitters was in Melbourne, Australia so then I could use the pick-up in store option. Because I’d totally prefer picking up the vinyl in person. If VMP had a store in Melbourne, I’d definitely pick up the vinyl in person too!

Exactly how I feel. sorry to hear that, notice the pinwheel mock has changed as well! I also got a green and bronze swirl which is actually pretty nice, so if anyone else is looking at it that’s the one I’d go for
 
I'm curious about this discussion regarding Newbury and some splatter vinyl not looking like the mock-up as justification for replacement/refund/etc. Isn't there a disclaimer somewhere when you purchase about how the product you receive might not look like the mock-up. I'd be curious to know what that exact language is, bc knowing the details of this wording would be crucial for anyone hoping for a replacement based on this point. I've had some records that do not match the description but I've never gone the route of attempting a replacement, assuming it would be an uphill battle against a strongly worded disclaimer. Curious what folks experiences have been on this front.
 
@wynn72 - Did you pick up the Pussycat Dolls’ PCD exclusive via Urban Outfitters? The first side is loaded with hits (all six tracks on side A were singles and all those singles were hits). I have a feeling you picked up that exclusive! And Side B is reveals there burlesque/stripper history. So I kind of want this PCD exclusive. I feel like it stands out!

lol I actually pre-ordered it awhile ago with the Kacey Musgraves, Lizzo, and Kehlani exclusives but just cancelled it yesterday! (pro-tip, its easy to cancel over the phone with UO and they give you a $10 off $50 coupon for doing it).

I'll probably still grab it at some point but $30 was pushing it considering I have so much pre-ordered right now and I have a strong feeling this one will go on sale at some point in the future. I think VMP and UO are both likely to have alot of good exclusives coming up so Im having to scale back a bit.

Glad you decided to grab ITZ and WotW though, those wont last and you would have had some serious regrets missing out. Check on that Yuna exclusive if you havent already too, great pop/R&B album with some great guest spots including from Little Simz. Usually hate red vinyl too but it's obviously perfect for this one.

Yeah, I checked out that Yuna’s Rouge, but I’m not a fan of the album. I’m not digging it, especially Yuna’s vocals. The production and aesthetic of Rouge is quite bland in my opinion too. I love Little Simz and Tyler The, Creator’s latest albums though!

Yes me too, this is one of their biggest releases of the year. I'd definitely sign up if it is their ROTM pick, on the other hand I really want to get the best version out there and the Sharon Van Etten ROTM didn't look like the mock up at all.

Anyway, if anyone finds more Exclusives, thx for tagging me :)

Lol I certainly am a proud pop freak so I obviously order from UO alot. Their CS is hit or miss but I have never had shipping problems with them. I know alot of people complain about things like receiving records in plastic bags but literally everything i have gotten from them has been well packaged (double boxed) and arrived pristine (I still ordered 2 of In the ITZ and WotW just in case though). Hoping your luck matches mine.
