Pre-Order Thread

Oh nice! I have Where You Been, but I've always wanted Without a Sound, so this is the perfect excuse. These should pop up at a US retailer so I can avoid excessive shipping, right?
Don't sleep on Hand It Over if you don't have it. Criminally underrated in my opinion.

Anyone know anything about this company and if these are expected to be high quality reissues? I'm interested in Green Mind and Where You Been. Not sure if the extras are enough for me to double dip on my OG Hand it Over.

If only that Piñata exclusive wasn’t clear. For $36 shipped I’ll do the standard press.

Don’t have a great track record with clear.

But at the same time, I’m still tempted.
This hobby, I tell ya!
Yeah clear is probably my least favorite color for a record besides gold ugh...

Agreed! Hand It Over is my favorite of the non-Lou DJ releases

Yeah, same here. The other three have their moments, but Hand It Over is the only one where I really like the whole album front to back.
Hand it Over is definitely my favorite major label release from them, and I agree it is super underrated. J has gone on record saying it’s his favorite major label release of Dinosaur Jr too but not sure if that’s still the case.

Cherry Red is solid and have been around a long time. I think they might have rights to do the major label releases from Dinosaur Jr now (they put out Ear Bleeding Country greatest hits last year). They seem to generally do great work and of the two releases I have from them are good. I’m assuming these will be digital because they are coming out on CD as well but who knows. I have no idea what the original source material looks like either but the earlier titles were possibly recorded analog. They should sound and look good either way though. Not sure if I want to blow $150 from the website to get all four yet though. I don’t need a badge if that’s the only thing exclusive to the Cherry Red store.

Yeah, I'll probably hold off since the only thing stated as limited is the pin. I sent them an inquiry at their mailorder@ just in case they will answer about pressing. Doubt it though.

Anyone enjoy Hobo? I am not a fan of the yelling he does.

Who enjoyed Mark de Clive-Lowe's Heritage Vol1&2?

First-time vinyl issue of The Dandelion War's We Were Always Loyal to Lost Causes with two unreleased bonus tracks. Not really a pre-order, since I guess it released last month, but it just fell into my sights now.

Three variants, ltd. 100 each: clear, milky clear, and black marble/smoke.

Recommended If You Like: Sigur Rós, Radiohead, Explosions In The Sky, Balmorhea, The Autumns, Cocteau Twins, Slowdive, Band of Horses, The Antlers, Mazzy Star, The Cure
