I started the Surrender audio book and it is a delight. This is just the kind of book that fits the format. I wonder if the stripped down versions of the songs they use for chapter introductions has anything to do with the re-recorded album.

I downloaded the tracks from the Achtung Baby 30th Live Subscriber gift today. It actually sounded really good. They did a good job of mixing the live tracks from a bunch of different eras to make it sound like a consistent live album. Kind of disappointing that the only version of "So Cruel" they've ever done is just an acoustic version of the first 2 verses but it is what it is.
