Isn't that supposed to be his character or something? Like he's trying to play some dude that's a tool. I don't know, it doesn't really make sense to me. I thought he's had some clever lyrics but I always seem to zone out and get bored.

There’s a point where method acting goes too far and you stop playing a role and simply become the thing you’re playing. If he truly was playing the persona as a role, he passed that point a loooong time ago.

Just to be clear. I wasn't defending him at all. Doesn't make sense to me, I just thought I remembered him saying that and was bringing it up because it seems like what you said is more true. I might be wrong about that though

Pure Conedy is probably my least favorite (partially due to its overall length) but my own hot take is that his first album Fear Fun is still his best.

Pure Conedy is probably my least favorite (partially due to its overall length) but my own hot take is that his first album Fear Fun is still his best.

It’s length is one of the reasons I like it, it’s like a long introspective journey.

It’s funny that both of our opinions are hot takes. Those are probably the two least likely albums for the general public to call his best
