Were the Latest reissues (Rising, 18 Tracks, etc) plangent? I can’t find any info.
the box set was:

i don't think the other single reissues were but not 100% sure. there isn't even a mention of "remaster" as far as I can see on The Rising. And they usually go out of their way to mention a remaster or the plangent process. But Bellman cut those reissues too I think so that's probably why they sound good.

Lol yeah the lingo can get tricky sometimes. Plangent Process is, in a very long story short, a relatively new mastering process that digitally restores analog tape to how it would have sounded new. The results are jaw dropping. The Grateful Dead and other big name classic rock artists have been using it.
I wanna say the VMP erroll garner and The Doors reissue used it too? Maybe a few other VMP releases.

The single reissues from the first box were, correct?

I can’t find runout information for the second box to compare. It would be strange to use a different source to release the single reissues, no?

I couldn’t find anything on the most recent batch, so I didn’t think they were….

the titles you mentioned (Rising, 18 tracks) are NOT in the vol 2 box set. theres no mention of a remaster on those titles you mentioned (that i could find), so they are likely from straight high-res transfers from the tapes and not plangent processed.

the breakouts from the first box likely are from plangent and the same pressings as the vol 1 box. i'd assume the vol 2 breakouts from 2018 are the same as whats in the box. we are vinyl did the breakout reissues and they are owned by Sony/Columbia.

But it's highly unlikely that the titles like Rising that were not in either box were done at plangent because I see no mention of remastering at all.

not sure if that is answering your question...

Sorry to be confusing. This definitely answers my question. I am going to unload all of my originals that are within the first two boxes. I will keep all of my originals after that.

I’ve got some white label promos from the first box. Does the collector in me keep them, or flip them?

RT cancelled 2 more of my albums one by one like hours apart. So far 3/7 cancelled.

I wish they would just do it all at once to not get my hopes up.

Were they all from the same order? Earlier today I received notice on a cancellation (Fruit Bats - The Pet Parade), but it also listed the other 11 items in the order and said they would be shipped soon. Now I'm wondering whether that's a good sign, or not?
