Might try it on a Meat Puppets album I’m missing (Monsters).

Anyone who does not have Up on the Sun should really give it a preview and consider buying it.

If you like their flavor of sun-baked, guitar-based laid back psychedelic flavored alt-rock, that’s a good entry point. One of my favorites.

A couple copies of this for $16

Having four of them nearby makes it a little easier to use these coupons.
I just bought some outer sleeves which never go on sale otherwise.

There are lots of great under the radar artists to choose from, but, along with everyone else, you can get this incredible Holly Bowling 3LP set for 20% off with the promo code at Royal Potato Family Records...

This lady is the bomb. Buy her records...

Took delivery of this Holly Bowling album today and have been listening to it. Kind of a cool listen. I’m by no means a huge Dead fan but across two records (so far) there’s only been one track where I really heard the connection. I used to listen quite a bit to the Windham Hill albums (George Winston, Liz Story) back in the 80’s and there’s some here that (for me) is a throwback to that music as well. It’s fun stuff, and an awesome tri-fold jacket!

She’s great. I dig her Phish stuff and some of the Dead material.

In case you don’t know, her story is pretty amazing. She was a piano teacher who, while attending a Marco Benevento benefit show years ago, paid $1 donation to play w/him. She jumps on stage and plays Atari w/ him note-for-note. She was able to do it again a month later. All of this was caught on video of course, and then 10 months later, she releases a piano arrangement of the complete 35-minute “Tahoe Tweezer” by Phish, and the rest is history. She has a solo career, is in a band called Ghost Light, etc.

If she's every playing near you, highly recommend checking her out. She's wonderful live - incredibly talented and creative. She usually plays some really cool venues, too.

I'm also a big fan of the band she's in, Ghost Light.

Mattiel's searing covers of Beastie Boys' "Looking Down The Barrel Of A Gun' and The Clash's "Guns Of Brixton" is probably the best use of $5 you will find.

Also, weird that no one is covering Rough Trade's massive sale right now

You have to navigate a bit to find the sales, get into browse and then filter on "in stock" and "sale". There are some good deals in there.

Not sure this is a deal or not, but check out this collection of jazz vinyl up on eBay right now: RARE Jazz LP LOT Og Hank Mobley Soul Station Blue Note 4031 DG BURRELL Beatles

I originally clicked because the image was Mobley's "Soul Station" (OG), but then I saw "Beatles" tacked on at the end. Weird listing to be sure. (And it sounds like the seller is a bit cranky - "Pick-up and Payment in-person ONLY!").

Is this collection of 200 albums worth $13,000 ($65/each)? Who knows - but there are some great titles/pressings here. I sure would like to take a look around.

Anyone up for a road trip to Naples, FLA? We can split the lot!
