Online Vinyl Deals

It starts this Sunday and goes until the 27th.. I believe in the past it went live at around 12:00am Eastern but maybe even a bit earlier and with the larger items the quantities are usually somewhat limited and might disappear quickly.
I was thinking it was 12:00 a.m. Pacific time, because one time-zone over from CA, I recall having to wait until 1:00 a.m. to be able to shop the sale. But either way, who knows if they're consistent with when/how they start?

Yeah, I could def. be wrong! It's been so long since they included vinyl in a sale. I read someone on Reddit I believe saying they have been inconsistent with start times the last few sales as well but I haven't bought anything so I never checked.

The Target website says this about the changeover of their weekly ads. I'd assume the website would have to be consistent with this? If so, it appears we're sort of both right. ;)🍻

"The ad is updated every Sunday between midnight and 2 a.m. Central time."

as expected, no MoFi,Impex or AP included.

This is their weakest BF sale in a while, but I'm not surprised given how well vinyl is selling even without any discounts.
agreed. and considering their prices are almost always list price, the 10% doesn't do much at all versus other indie stores. the solid packaging is definitely a plus though.

also, when in doubt about whether or not there's a coupon code, just use 10PERCENT. they reuse the same codes every time...could have sworn last black friday was 20% off including AP.

Gonna add 4AD to this list as well, since all the Big Thief pressings sound crappy. Really any indie label ever that has a DIY aesthetic can't get their pressing shit together for some reason. Except maybe Polyvinyl.
This is a more recent thing for a lot of these. I have a good chunk of late 2000s indie albums pressed at RTI. Sub Pop and Merge still regularly presses at RTI also.

Udiscover and SOV are having a buy 1 get 1 60% off sale. Coupon code: FALLSALE

If my math is right it’s essentially 30% off each.

Also a reminder to use your 40% off coupon if you haven’t already! @Crabbers i think you said you were maybe waiting to use yours! Think it expires tonight or tomorrow

they'd better be doing a full-on 40% off BF sale like they strongly implied they'd be doing. i'd like us all to clean house.

Nothing much left I want at udiscover either but sound of vinyl on the other hand ...
Curious what you’re interested in there? I made an order at both since I had coupons at both and couldn’t really find anything else I wanted/needed unless they added more items. I’ll have my target basket loaded up but after that not sure what else I want this year

I used to think SOV sucked, but I think it's just their site. This time I tried searching for an album at a label I like then clicked on the label hyperlink which showed all the albums they have from that label. Found a ton of albums I've never seen on there before with this method.

Edit: they might still suck, just found more than i have before this way. Waiting to see if the 40% sale comes out.

Edit 2: and to answer your question, a bunch of small press stuff I've been wanting.
