The MoFi is good but didn’t blow me away FWIW. I gotta spin it again when I’m home though.

Well I’m glad I bought the Japanese one then, much less €€€€

Also with The Stones the original recordings are always going to provide an upper ceiling to what can be done, which I’m kinda alright with, the tunes are more than good enough to make up for it!

Yea—don’t get me wrong it sounded good from what I remembered but I also didn’t have much to compare it to since I don’t own any other pressings. I think I managed to get it for $70. This was all before Record City appeared haha.

I’m very curious to give a clean and a listen to all these Stones OG UK pressings my father and law gave me! Some monos and some stereo pressings. Have to figure out how to bring about 40-50 Lps back in my luggage haha

New suitcase? 😂

Edit: I think I’ve brought a max of 20 back on the plane before in a suitcase. I used jumpers and t shirts like you would card or bubble wrap in a box and they actually travelled really well!

The 2018's are ok, but a bit on the flat sounding side, digital origins are clear. I wouldn't go down the OG hole, too tough to find a really mint one - and this album needs mint. I have the Classic, which is exceptional, but if I did not, would get a clean Japanese pressing.

Another vote for the Flying Burrito Bros. and Joe Jackson. They sound great and all 5 I have are killer albums.

This happened to me the other week with a different title. A week after ordering they responded and said they had to cancel my order because the record was OOS. Hoping you have better luck than me!
