Vinyl Me Please (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

Phoenix is another album in my cart yesterday where I had to ask myself "Is this just FOMO?". I did really like 1901 when it first came out, but that's not enough to justify paying over $40 Canadian for. I put on the second top song off the album on Spotify and said "meh" before removing it from my cart. I could've easily spent $150-200 yesterday but I'm proud of myself for bringing it down to a reasonable $80 (Davis/Coltrane and Outkast - both I know I'll listen to over and over).

Incoming "A Boy Named Charlie Brown" store drop, probably tomorrow.

Some info from the craft version, wonder what the VMP will be like?

Recorded in 1964, the music of A Boy Named Charlie Brown contains Vince Guaraldi’s earliest Peanuts creations, including the first appearance of “Charlie Brown’s Theme” and “Linus and Lucy,” which became the defining song of all the early TV specials. This LP re-issue features the 1972 artwork depicting a helpless Charlie Brown on a pitcher’s mound and comes with 8 newly created baseball cards of favorite Peanuts characters. The album was mastered from the original analog tapes by Kevin Gray.

So I just received my swap from this month. Yussef Dayes Trio, and I looked at the value on cogs and now I'm afraid to open it. I'm just sitting here staring at it... I'm gunna open it but... I think it's going to take some time... Maybe I need a beer.
Sell that shit and buy more beer 😂

I reckon I've got about another week to wait on my copy, and I'll be opening it as soon as I'm done listening to Shotgun Willie at least twice. Very stoked for both.
