True test presses were never intended to be sold as a retail package so they generally were/are packed in generic cheap sleeves for protection. However, I would have thought that both LPs would be together to consider it complete.

At this time, all the vinyl versions are arguably overpriced. It’s just what you may have to pay to own a really solid Dylan album on vinyl.

I really like this album. If I didn’t have it I would be watching for a NM copy at a price I felt comfortable paying. I overpaid a bit for an original Rolling Thunder some time back.

Like the Classic pressing of Led Zeppelin Physical Graffiti. Soon as I find a like new copy for $50-$75 bucks I’m likely jumping on it but at $589 I’m out of the running.

Which one did you buy? CS told me that the Royal Albert Hall that was $90 was just one LP and they cancelled my order at my request. Other people I know just got their orders cancelled randomly. They definitely oversold these based on what people on FB are saying...

I just got refunded from AS for one I ordered. The message they put in PayPal was this:

what a mess. i get the strong impression that their site just cannot handle inventory well when multiple people try to order something they don't have more than 1 copy of. the same thing happened with the MoFi Jack Johnson--I think nearly everybody's copies got cancelled because of lack of stock.

It absolutely cannot. It doesn't update in real time. If you only have 1 copy or a few copies, you need to figure out how to do real time inventory.

The $90. They said it was 2lp. I don't have a cancelation notice yet.

I’ve listened through Blonde on Blonde. Most of these sound amazing. I’m listening while working but for some reason felt like Another side of Bob Dylan sounded inferior to the rest... 🤷🏻‍♂️

Also I don't know if it was from stuffing my shelf tight or what, but my box is destroyed like it was crushed. So be warned on that too.

Well I had the phone in my hand when the restock email arrived.

And I had the item in my shopping cart already waiting for the email.

Less than 15 seconds. And out of stock😠

Note: time stamp above is after several tries. Email arrived at 4pm local time. and it was still 4pm when it showed sold out.
