Needles & Grooves Fantasy Hockey League

anyone with an free IR+ spot and a bit of patience wana trade for my Jack Eichel ? ill take anything but injured goalies, i got three of them.

Why is he not the stud he was at the beginning of the season? I haven't followed the Habs much lately.

Just having a bit of a drought and not producing points much lately, so bad for the pool. His face-off numbers stayed decent though. His on-ice play is still ok. Watch him start producing again now that I dropped him. LOL.

More immediately, I needed to get a couple extra starts today to see if I can hold the fort against @Crabbers , and the Habs are not playing today.

We have a real battle going on in goals this week 5 to 7 total🤦🏻‍♂️😂

I’m going to need my 2 guys to score at least 14 goals and have 14 helpers in order to tie things up

I just realized I left a goal on the bench yesterday starting Schenn over Cirelli. Idk why I sat a Lightning player. Against code!! Woulda made today a lot more interesting @Hollywood but oh well!! Lesson learned lol

The New York Islanders placed captain Anders Lee on long-term injured reserve, the team announced Sunday.

The move is retroactive to March 11.

The Islanders ruled Lee out indefinitely Friday after he left Thursday's win over the New Jersey Devils with a lower-body injury.

Players on LTIR must miss a minimum of 10 games or 24 days, according to CapFriendly. This allows teams to exceed the salary cap and spend an amount equal to the injured player's cap hit while he remains out of the lineup.

Lee's cap hit is $7 million.

Lee leads the Islanders with 12 goals and ranks second on the club with 19 points across 27 games in 2021.

The 30-year-old is in his ninth season with the Islanders, who drafted him 152nd overall in 2009. New York named him captain in 2018-19 following John Tavares' departure.

Pageau was placed in the NHL's COVID-19 protocol Sunday, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.

Analysis:

Pageau is not in the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Devils. In fact, he's on non-roster injured reserve for now. It's unclear whether Pageau contracted the virus or was a close contact to an infected person, so there's no timetable for his return to the lineup.
