I'm probably more laid back than I should be when it comes to warps. If it doesn't affect play, then I typically don't bother returning it unless it's a very expensive album. Record weights don't really work on my TT. The one I had seems to push the platter down too much and occasionally causes the platter to scrape against the surface of the deck. I also typically don't ask for a replacement for seam splits unless it's really bad or if the album is really expensive.
I also grabbed that Astral Weeks -> due on my doorstep Friday.

I really like the MOV pressing for Kind Of Blue! It sounds really good and has very little to no surface noise! It’s definitely a keeper and isn’t expensive at all to find!

Honestly don’t know if I prefer my MoFi 2LP 45RPM and MOV single LP pressing! That’s how good the MOV pressing is in my opinion!
I probably would complain if I was paying a ton for international shipping or paying some of the prices y'all have to pay overseas. You definitely have the right to complain about it especially if it affects play or looks like your tonearm is on a roller coaster.

Mmmm yep, I know what you mean. I found it a little dynamic and I think the clarity on the pressing is great. Soundstage is quite nice too. But I definitely do know what you mean as it doesn’t ‘sing’. Like it doesn’t have that ‘air’ and spaciousness to it and even though the soundstage is decent, it doesn’t sound as open as it could. The MoFi sounds much more open and dynamic, but I feel like it’s a little bit more muddy in sound. They’re both very different pressings and I have a feeling the UHQR pressing will be even better than both and will be the absolute keeper for me, once I compare it to the other pressings!

Yea specifically with some of the Van Morrison KG cuts, the ATM is AAA while CA was digital. It may have only been the case with Moondance though.
I’m really curious to get my hands on a UHQR. I’ll buy the Miles Davis and compare it to the MoFi.Kudos to Acoustic Sounds for leaving less than complimentary reviews posted for the Jethro Tull Aqualung UHQR. I’ve been a huge fan of the Steven Wilson Tull reissues- I’ve bought them all and the SW Aqualung easily beats my DCC. Their honesty saved me $125.

I would too, but Mono only please. I have the AP 45rpm of Otis Blue in stereo and his vocals are panned so damn hard into the left channel, I rarely reach for it. That's been the case with all his stereo stuff in my experience.
Agreed. I was recently looking for the best CD versions/digital versions to download and mono is always the way to go with Otis. I have an OG pressing and that's the version I'm most used to listening to and it's in mono so didn't realize they hard panned his voice until I heard a stereo version. That's a shame the AP is stereo! I had that on my want list but just took it off now.
