Pre-Order Thread

I have a Squeaky Clean still sealed in the box that I picked up before deciding on the Degritter instead. If anyone wants to make a deal, let me know. It has literally never been opened.
Wow, talk about polar opposites! :p I imagine the Degritter is pretty sweet, but for anyone looking for an inexpensive record cleaner that requires a bit of work but gets the job done, the Squeaky Clean is a great option at its price range.

I've had mine for over 4 years now and it's still all running great. I'd love to eventually get one of the higher end ones but like you said it's a great option for the price.

Agreed. It’s a also a million times better than the Spin Clean.

The Degritter is honestly pretty great, and was a totally irresponsible purchase. But I've been using it almost every day.

Soul Step Records Announces SSR-073!

If you want to chat more about Soul Step Releases - join us over in the VINYL CLUBS section of the site!

In partnership with Old Flame Records, we are excited to announce SSR-073. We will be releasing on November 21st to Soul Step Subscribers the sophomore album from Cincy Synth Pop duo - MOONBEAU. Building on the success of their debut critically acclaimed self-titled album, Moonbeau is back with an incredibly strong LP “Up All Night.”

Moonbeau is best known for their 80’s inspired aesthetic and energetic synth pop sound, Moonbeau delivers a sense of nostalgia with every note. “Up All Night” is an album that is about going after what you want in life despite the challenges that face us. Moonbeau paints this picture with a dreamy landscape, earnest lyrics, and down to earth attitude. After being furloughed due to the COVID pandemic, Moonbeau renovated a 1985 RV to live and tour in full-time. They hope to collaborate and perform with musicians across the country in the future.

This album is best described as Cincy Synths that can make Summer last forever. This album is for fans of Bleachers, COIN, and Jukebox The Ghost. This album is stacked with sunshine-soaked 80’s synths that are equal parts youthful energy and grown-up wisdom. Moonbeau’s sophomore LP has songs to dance with your newest love & songs to fondly remember your mischievous younger years. It’s sugar sweet pop music that you do not have to feel guilty about loving.

Soul Step Records will be releasing Moonbeau’s LP “Up All Night” to Soul Step Subscribers on Saturday, November 21st. The general public sale will begin on Monday, November 23rd. This LP will be available to stream on your favorite service on Friday, November 20th.

Holy hell, is that the real vinyl or a mock up?

Im getting a contact high just looking at it. 🔥🔥

You're killing me! Literally just called Music Direct to see if they would give any discounts, and they said no. Amazon had one for $649, just went back and it was gone. Seems to come and go for that price. Would love to get one by next week, kid is out of town so have some time.
Have you considered a Record Doctor? I have the RDV and it works really well for only $200. You're going to have to stand by any machine while it vacuums, so hand turning for 2 rotations one way, two rotations the other way is not a big deal. And, the record rests on a label-sized base, so no dirty side contact. @sjaygray can advise as to the newer model, the RDVI.

@Nathaniel.D Just went live

Dang. Missed test press. I expected it to go straight to PayPal but instead you had to type in info. Should of put a tee in the basket earlier and started the check out process. Grrr. This should be good but going to have to wait a bit for the main release now. :)

Note: 12:17 and the Deluxe is is gone also so you may not want to delay on this release.

I did. I've been researching them all within my range. Think I picked what I wanted for what I have. Luckily had a couple things pop up that gave me a little extra money to be able to do this. Really looking forward to it!
