Definitive Audiophile pressings

It will definitely force self-control; I'm going to be living week to week with payments and I'm going to try and list as much vinyl I want to sell on eBay this week and I might sell other things too. I'm gonna have to stop doing PT sessions too and I'm even scared to tell my PT that I can't do it anymore because he's one of my main customers.

I'm so happy I'm part of this community because like you said, I'll always find support here! ♥️

Yeah, I think it is standard that most places come with a fridge. I remember seeing one apartment that didn't come with one, but most of the advertisements I looked at before came with a fridge. Fingers crossed this one comes with a fridge but if not, I'll have to buy a cheap one.

I used to use the Okki Nooki brush with wood handle but they only lasted a few cleaning sessions before they started to crack and the bristles would pop out one section at a time. So i was recommended this one from VPI:

It's a little different from the other one but works great.

I clean my records by hand with this replacement brush. I bought one for cheap off of Elusive Disc I think. It works fantastic for me. Never have had a problem and I’ve cleaned well over a couple hundred records.

I'm hoping they have their black friday sale and APs are included...but we'll see!

Good luck on the job hunt! And I know it's not AP quality...but the Ella and Louis album from the DeAgostini sale is quiiiite nice especially for the price. You could probably get one for $10 at this point from someone who bought the set and got duplicates.

Thanks man! Appreciate the well wishes! Feeling pretty confident about my chances it’s just a whole new career field. Pushing into UX Design from entrepreneurship so there’s a lot of “oooooo am I gonna be taken seriously here” going on but my portfolios looking kick ass 💪🏼.

As for Ella & Louis I have a pretty decent sounding copy rn but it’s one of my and the fiancé’s favorite albums of all time so I gotta do it justice and get the AP!

From the reviews, it does seem to be the definitive pressing for The Doors' self-titled, so I'm definitely going to try and grab that 45RPM pressing! The AP pressing for L.A. Woman is just exceptional and I think the 45RPM AP pressing for Strange Ways sounds superb too!

I don't have Waiting For The Sun and I haven't heard that Doors album yet, but that's great to know the AP pressing for that album sounds superb like L.A. Woman! 🙌

OMG and my future housemate wants a gold cutlery set that's like AUD$200...

Like, I don't want to spend that much on some tacky cutlery set. Would rather just get some cutlery from my house or a cheap set lol

She is like me with vinyl when it comes to cooking and kitchen appliances, like she wants it to be all quality. I don't know how I'm gonna afford everything but if I have to sell things and start doing ubereats, I'll just do it haha 🤷‍♂️
 
And @Joe Mac - She wants us to get a SMEG kettle and fridge...FML 🤣🤦‍♂️

I'm a bit nervous to tell my PT that next week is going to be my last week training with him because I gotta save up. He'll be totally cool with it as he is popular but still.....
