Pre-Order Thread

Grabbed the Green in Clear variant. Love this album! I have the deluxe white 2xLP version from 5 years ago but have always hated how much space the box took up haha I'll sell that one once this comes in.
Yeah I bought the ugly swamp looking green haze one lolz. I like it though. Great album. I got to see them at Warped tour 2006 or 2007 I think it was. They played on a small stage and I think their first single had just come out so a few people knew them.

I felt kinda bad for them though. I think they lost momentum once they started making their second album and recorded it in a bubble or underwater or somewhere gimmicky ha ha

Oh man. I havenā€™t thought about them forever. #sadboynostalgia
Did you ever listen to a band called Nightmare of You? I sorta connected all these bands together at the same time. NOY didn't really sound like Jack's Mannequin or Honorary Title. They reminded me more of those 2000's indie bands like Elefant and perhaps some Interpol. I only heard about them by reading that a member used to be in the band The Movie life who I really liked.

Every Drew release since Medicine has been a ROTM. Maybe the Double LP prevents it from being a ROTM. It is $35 from his store, so there is that. I'd rather it be this than a comp.
I don't doubt it. I'm just very tired of Holcomb using Magnolia to push himself, nor do I find his songwriting compelling at all. Will be swapping if it is him.

He is not my favorite by any means and I do agree that other people deserve to be showcased, but he did start the club so he has some pull rightly or wrongly. I just wish they would do some country releases. To many artists of the same sound/genre are record of the month. Then again it sells so that is probably what they care about.. A Stapleton ROTM of the month would be a big get. I still say the Discovery and store exclsuives are my favorite part of the club.

Tsunami Bomb is coming out with a new 7ā€
I got lucky and saw them on Warped Tour 2005 or 2006 in Dallas back when Emily was the singer.

Iā€™m not sure I understand what happened with this group. I think they had two female vocalists, one had a cool unique voice that sort of gave them their edge. Then they replaced that one with another one that sounds maybe a bit tone deaf? Is that right?

The definitive act is such an outstanding album. Thereā€™s only one LP version out there, it was released in a limited quantity on Bandcamp and can still be had cheap on discogs.

Essentially. When they reunited, Emily declined to rejoin and instead on her new project (which has done barely anything).
This new singer just doesnt compare unfortunately....

I had not. Jackā€™s Mannequin wasnā€™t really a thing until after I had moved on a bit. I mostly associate Honorary Title more with the Likes of Straylight Run, Dashboard Confessional, The Good Life, Bright Eyes, etc... I love Elefant and Interpol though. I will check them out for sure.

Iā€™m not really sure of the bands history or really anything prior to their latest album, my buddy Andy plays guitar for them

If it weren't for the discovery track I'd have been long gone by now. Just spun that Ruston Kelly last night and it's so good.

They started with a guy vocalist then moved to Emily and then to whoever they have now. They were really good back in the day. I always had them sit side by side with AFI during their late Nitro records phase before Sing the Sorrow.

I bought MFTMA last year out of pure nostalgia but man do I replay that record more than I ever thought I would.

I think this is probably the case for a LOT of members, and they fully know it, hence why they don't let people sign up for just the Discovery pick. I cancelled my membership a couple of months ago in an effort to reduce my vinyl spending, but it was a really hard decision to make specifically because of that Discovery track...it's soo good

Not sure if this was ever posted. Sounds wild!

This sounds really cool, looks like there's some more affordable US options too.

Our exclusive Green/Blue variant will be available for purchase when inventory is in stock in November.

I don't know this store but they have the Gold which matches the cover better IMO
