But it is a quality vinyl package, that may or may not ship on time. If you do get it, it might come warped or damaged and then you will have to fight with CS (who may not every reply) to get $5 credit for the "cosmetic damage"

I dropped my subscription of 6 years last month (for a break from the norm) with the thought that I'd be back. At $40 a pop for one record, it looks like I'm staying out.

Huh, I got the same notice but after 5 years as a customer, they still want $399 for 12 months, no discount.

I'm sure it's not a straight A -> B correlation, but I guess we can see at least one potential result when you have 5000+ unsold Grateful Dead box sets sitting in a warehouse.

I also wouldn’t be surprised if the Herbie box is cancelled now if a ton of members cancel. They really thought they could sell $3 million in Grateful Dead vinyl. I definitely think there a correlation between the Dead box not selling and VMP raising prices.

How do you lock in $25/month for a year? At the new price hikes I’d also be surprised if VMP lasts for a year. Tons of people are going to cancel.
