Auerbach produced one of her albums and she did an in studio and then like 2 weeks later Auerbach was there. The DJ doing the interview mentioned that and Auerbach looks left then right, "she uh, didn't steal anything did she?"

Thats what I think about every single time her name comes up.

I don’t think Auerbach produced any of her albums. Are you thinking of someone else? Nikki Lane maybe?

It looks like he produced her early sessions in Nashville. I misremembered it being a full album.

Went with signed as well. Dawes is about as consistent of band as you will find. They don’t make bad records.

The good news is for most people is that I’m sure they’ll have another limited variant when this sells out. Second City Prints ran stores are notorious for doing this.

Also went with the signed record. Dawes are a top 10 band for me. So freaking good, and Dave Cobb produced? Can't beat it.

I think they used to do this a lot but the last few things I ordered from them haven’t gotten reprints. Might be an artist rather than store thing? Was happy to grab this one though. Thanks for the heads up y’all!

Yeah could be. I know they have done it with the new Lukas Nelson and the new Ruston Kelly.
