Looking for a good US deal on The Roots with Elvis Costello - Wise Up Ghost

Have you tried Discogs?

I did look there, what's with 7 dollar US shipping? I am seeing more sellers charging 6 and up for US media mail. Do they offset their selling price to reduce their fees to discogs?

I didn't think of that, you are probably right on.

Most people are 4 or 5 dollars and sometimes they quote you shipping after you buy, which is BS unless you want something besides Media mail.

I'll keep an eye out for you.

Edit: the only other one I see is acoustic sounds for $26.98

Probably offsetting fees but also buying mailers, etc. I’m okay paying up to $6 shipping on something...after that I just ignore the listing unless it’s that much cheaper than other listings. With media mail being so iffy now too, I’d probably ship with insurance depending on the price of the album.

I appreciate it, I have had it on my wantlist, I can be patient until one pops up. Thanks again.

By the way, it's great if anyone hasn't heard it yet. It's on freakin' Blue Note!

Yeah, I buy mailers, toner and paper for my printer, tape, etc. I only charge 4.50 flat rate for any number of records. Maybe I'll do the same and see how it works out. Supplies aren't cheap, though I do re-use mailers that are still in good condition.

Check out this seller on Ebay, half price boxes. 100 LP Premium Record Album Mailers Book Box Variable Depth Laser Disc Mailers

You may need spacer/stiffener pads as well but its still cheaper than anywhere else. 150 LP Record Mailer Insert Pad Scrapbook 12.25 x 12.25 | eBay

I do buy mailers for about 50 cents each. Sometimes I get the pads, often I use old beat up albums on either side of the sale record(s).

That's funny, i have a bunch of old 12" singles from the 80's I bought on a blind buy and when I need a spacer it goes in the box. I'm waiting for someone to complain that I sent them a Chaka Khan remix!

I had never seen people do that before and had a brief panic attack once. Ordered a pretty pricey used Music Matters Blue Note pressing from someone once and opened it up and it was a beat up ZZ Top album cover haha. My heart dropped but then I realized it was just padding hah

This is a legendary hardcore band from Philadelphia; not your usual stuff, though.
