What's Spinning

Yeah...I order everything XTC/King Crimson/Jethro Tull related from them, too. This was the first time I've ever had an issue.

It won't stop me from ordering from them again.

It was pretty obvious that the barcode on the shipping label was causing issues with shipping - and while they seemed to think that it could be the reason - they seemed quite peeved that I mentioned that maybe the barcode shouldn't be on it - as it is only their in-house ordering number.

Nothing else on the package could have kept sending it back to DC other than this barcode. I know my local PO makes sure there are no other barcodes on the package when I send something out.

An Update....I finally received the original package that was shipped out from England in October. It must have been so beat up that the USPS put it in a new Priority box, taped the shipping label to it, and then plastic wrapped the whole thing together. The records sleeves are trashed with bent corners and seam splits so bad the record is coming out.

I'm actually surprised they aren't worse for traveling around the country for 6 months.

So I have 2 copies of these LP's and the Blu Ray. All are more beat up than I would like....but I got a refund on them, so it's not a total loss.

My collection #289-290

N'Kassa Cobra - Unidade Luta Progresso
Syli Authentic - Dans l'arène

N'Kassa Cobra are from Guinea-Bissau and Syli Authentic from neighbouring Guinea and both are great. Guinea-Bissau music feels more like Cabo Verde to me while Guinea is sort of in between Senegal and Mali, musically as well as geographically. Two sweet albums.
