Vinyl Me Please Anthology

I can't help but wonder if 'personalised solutions' are being found one-to-one for those that complain loudly enough. A $50 refund to 20 people has to be more cost efficient than a complete jacket rerun. I'm speculating of course but that's how it feels. I seem to remember something similar happened when they screwed over who knows how many people's Christmas' by failing to deliver all of their holiday albums before Christmas.
this is what I want to avoid, I think they should reprint the sleeve and not give out piecemeal stuff, even personally contacting people seems to piecemeal to me, also if they did a partial refund I would definitely post about it even though I am sure they would ask me not to. I am all for open communication unless there is an actual good reason to not share something
I’ve reported lots of comments, especially when they attack other posters in the group. I get a notification when they are deleted.
maybe you are getting credit for them

Finally wrote my email to Anthology right now with my complaints. Went back and re-edited it to take out anything that could be misconstrued as non-constructive criticism. Hit send and got the automated email response back with this at the bottom.

Sorry VMP. Not exactly the best timing on that suggestion...

I would be very curious for someone to actually respond to the offers for a phone call or DM to see if this is the case. It doesn't seem that far off to me...
I am still considering, I told Matt I am thinking about it but it would be next week if I agree, time for me to cool down and potentially him depending on his goal for the conversation
It's the most frustrating part. With just a LIIIIITLE bit more care, this could have been a really great product all-around. And these mishaps are taking away from how great the records sound.
I agree, the sound is great (besides the scratch on my Dexter) and the box itself is really nice even without the foil stamp (I would have been fine if they had just emailed us to say hey instead of the foil stamp we are keeping the UV look and hand numbering it, I would have been completely fine with that)

while in general, I strive for constructive feedback I am pretty sure I crossed it a few times in my email, probably enough so that Paul sent it to Matt and hence the offered phone call

Not surprised Dublin has its own vinyl club. After all, it's the biggest city in the world!

It keeps dublin and dublin and dublin in size.

I use this joke every year to my class when looking at the potato famine, as Dublin was the only part of Ireland where the population increased during the period. They look st me like i’m Insane every year.

My class is rural, proper country. We were looking at homophones and the words ‘ewe’ and ‘you’ and they corrected me ‘Don’t you mean a yo’. One little girl in primary 1 brought in for show and tell a bag full of bull horns.

It’s an improvement from working in the city where kids pretended to play Grand Theft Auto at breaktime. #literallychangingthegame

My Mum was from an extremely rural part of Galway and so despite growing up in a town in England I said yo and filum as a child...

Lets just say I got the piss proper ripped out of me for that...
