I want a new damn record club to born and do things better (shouldn't be hard at this point) and curate some incredible records from all over the world (even if the curation cannot be better as our N&G CLUB).

Just catching up on posts. My mate still lives in Nottingham and sent me this Christmas video from Robs Records. That place is both horrifying and a potential gold mine.

I think this is where most of the aggravation, for me anyway, stems. But we all have our own ways of dealing and or reacting to these things and that's fine. With any company, I will give you my money to a certain point, but when "I" feel problems are being ignored or not addressed properly and I, as a customer, am now just a revenue stream, I speak with my wallet. I've said it since the beginning, I hope they get their shit together, but it won't happen until the right nerve or person/s gets hit, that's just the way it is unfortunately.

I grew up 14 miles down the road and spent most of my late teen years going out/shopping in Nottingham and never knew that place existed. Im really temped to visit, but...

..yeah this, I might walk in the door freak out and run away! That said if I can get some Stones stuff that Im after it might be a worthwhile trip!
 
I just remembered something kind of funny. Remember when a classics booklet (written by one of VMP's staff iirc) called the Rolling Stones "Black Monarchists" or something like that only for them to sell an overpriced anniversary edition of "Let It Bleed" months later? Way to stick to your guns...

I can't with these type of stores. I go to the same stores over and over because I like to go through all of the bins. All of them. And then on subsequent visits, I can just visit the "Just In" bins because I've already visited all of the other bins. So, this kind of chaos would make me cry. And I'd still try to conquer it. And it would best me. ORGANIZE YO'SELF, PLEASE!

So my tracking info has updated.....and it doesnt look good. Its got a Declared value of 34USD, even though I haven't bought a record for that price. So im certainly going to get hit with import fees.

It has a weight of 2.161 lbs. Anyone have any ideas of how many records this could be? I have a few outstanding (even though they say fulfilled) so I am certainly going to cancel any I can to prevent the fees.

2/3 or maybe a really heavy double. It’s pretty much 1kg.
 
So as expected all 4 outstanding orders in one parcel..just beck still outstanding ...no customs charge for me ..no idea what will happen next month and shall wait to see offers or swaps on 27th before committing to another 3 months
