Electronic

A thread for all things Electronic music

What a great way to start this thread.
We’re back baby

This dropped last week and I reckon it’s my electronic album of the year. UK Bass/Future Garage/Ambient, a really nice mix of slow atmospheric songs and upbeat danceable ones, and a mix of styles you don’t normally get on a single project in the genre. Really fucking good

I've had this one on my wantlist for a week now, thanks for convincing me. (y)

Here are some recent pre-orders of mine:

MY DISCO - Environment
Not Glass (Not Waving & Jay Glass Dubs) - Forma
Samuel Kerridge & Taylor Burch - The Other

I've always been surprised by the VMP crowd's lack of love for electronic music. I get not liking EDM (neither do I)...

But working on a top-100 end of the decade list has helped me realize how much this decade has shifted my taste in an electronic direction and how many vital albums the genre has seen during the past 10 years.

A couple months ago a friend asked me to build an electronic playlist for them. I might as well share it here:

Well, there a few of us in here.
But I have to agree there’s just so much variety nowadays it’s hard to keep up with all different styles and I surely love the many faces of electronic music - just as much as I love the many faces of music in general.

Just take a look at my recent pre-orders above. There might not be a single record up there that’s comparable to another.

@Woob_woob Do you still have your top list handy?

I swear I was born with superpowers but I'm *just* stupid enough to not be able to control them.
Repress for that album formally confirmed by HKE (now named Lucid HKE) who is one half of 2814.
Said to keep your eyes out on Dream Catalogue (the label) next week
Said it here at 49:46:

I already own a copy but cool that people who don’t will be able to get their hands on one, it’s a great release
