Just so we're all clear, the label was able to produce at least 77,500 CD copies of this album in under 2 months. They also had an LP release in Europe by 1995 (I couldn't find a specific date), but I think we can assume in under a year, and probably a higher unit count. This album went from an idea to shelves in approximately 12-15 months. And an idea to vinyl in likely under a year.
I don't remember the unit counts on these VMP variants, but assuming this is a normal VMP release it sounds like VMP couldn't secure 3000(+/-) units in over 6 months. I don't know what they have been doing with this specific release, but they REALLY let the wheels fall off. I can't believe they haven't moved 100% of their exclusives to another pressing plant with all these delays. But I guess they still don't care because they keep selling out. As long as the spreadsheets look good they sincerely do not give a shit.
I don’t even think you can put this shit on the plant. They use GZ mainly and for all their faults if there’s one thing GZ do better than anyone else it’s lots and quickly. VMP need some logistics experts badly badly badly.

Don't have Tidal (or any Fiona). Not sure I NEED Tidal (or any Fiona for that matter). I've got a lot on my wants list so not sure I should bump anything for these.

Just make sure you buy Fiona Apple’s “When The Pawn” when it drops! It’s her best album in my opinion and a VMP exclusive you do not want to miss!

I listened to "When the Pawn..." today for the first time in a while and goddamn if it isn't a masterpiece. Very excited for it to drop.

It really is a masterpiece! It really makes you have those unexplainable feelings! It’s a top 10 album for me, from the 1990’s!
You know when things are going well but unexpectedly everything changes? And you have to embrace the change but you don’t want to embrace it, because you don’t think you will like it at all. It’s a bad change. Well, I feel like Fiona Apple’s “When The Pawn” is a person who comforts you and reassures you that everything is going to be OK, and that this change will be something good for you in the long-term. And When The Pawn always reminds you of some very good Dahli-lama kind of life-lessons! And When The Pawn loves a bit of a cheeky treat too!
And I love When The Pawn because they love intimacy and purity and dark romance. And When The Pawn also loves abstract art and never conforms to fashion trends!
I know this is going to sound a bit over exaggerated, but I feel like When The Pawn is a piece of my inner self that was missing in me, that I found! When The Pawn is that good! It really is Frank Ocean’s older, humble, comforting sibling!

Pubs are rarely on trend lol. Pub food is usually frozen meal kinda food made for truck-drivers who don’t live to eat, instead they just eat to live and work, so they’ll eat whatever lolWhat’s wrong with pub food and flannel shirts?

Some pubs do have amazing food, it’s just that majority don’t! But I’m not a pub guy overall. Definitely not my thing!
When I think of pubs, I think of that beer-drinking Simpsons character thats always at the pub, that’s why I mentioned it. Like that Simpson character would enjoy Jim Sullivan’s U.F.O. because he’s such a man’s man lol
