Vinyl Me Please (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

Tina'd The Infamous. Classic Mid-90's hip hop.

On the tax, everywhere is doing it now as a result of the case cited above. At this point, if you're American you should just assume you'll be paying tax online with any domestic site.

This is why Bullmoose, Plaid Room, and other independant record stores with an online presence have become even more appealing. Havent run into many of these outside my home state that charge tax (yet).

I realize there is no consistency however....

I have two exclusives that are marked "going out with your next shipment" and my ROTM is marked 5-7 business days. In theory those will come with that shipment, or the next?

If it's marked "going out with your next shipment", it should be included in your ROTM shipment that's about to go out. I think the only hold up would be if your ROTM are already packed up. That said, you should've or would've already gotten a ship notice where they generate the label for your shipment but not actually sent it out yet. We'll see if that's the case as I bought Sonny Collins yesterday so we'll see if it's in my box that's yet to go out.

Why would they lie? They sent out an email announcing its release and it's a pretty well thought of album. Some were wondering on Reddit if that was too few and that it could've been a RHH ROTM.

Did I say they lied about anything? I just said its fishy. Yah its a well thought of album but its from '95, has a solid and readily available repress, and most people who love it already have it. I just don't see where this crazy demand is coming from.

It's a pretty color & they have a dedicated audience. Eric Dolphy sold out in a month or so while Newbury's variant of the same record sat in the store for YEARS

Normally I might agree. But it’s not like titles are selling out left and right the day they become available. That’s a pretty rare occurrence, that is generally reserved for big time albums or highly anticipated new releases. This is definitely the former and should have been a RHH AOTM.
