I’m so happy for us that Jessie Ware’s What’s Your Pleasure? made it into the top #10!!! 😍♥️🎉

It was also really nice seeing Lianne La Havas do very well and see Yves Tumor get some strong recognition, also landing in the top #10! 🔥🔥🔥

@gaporter - You must be loving the Needles&Grooves top #10 album list of 2020 with Caribou, Yves Tumor, Dua Lipa and Taylor Swift all making it in there! 🙉🤗
I was happy to see those placements - but also Gorillaz, Rina Sawayama and Jeff Rosenstock all bubbling just under the top 10 and numbers 11, 12 and 13 respectively is also amazing! Very glad to see them all represented at all, let alone so high up ^_^

And Hayley Williams at 47 is also a nice surprise, considering I felt like the only person all year who really loved that album haha

Mmmmmm yes! I was so happy to see them three albums place so high too! I love that I’ve got all those three albums on vinyl too; and good looking colour variants as well! 😍

Not a fan of that Hayley Williams album but that’s cool she snuck into the top 50!

what did i do to make @Rip_City angry 🥺

i assume it has to do with this ^ lol

I get not many people seemed to care for it and if I'm trying to look at it from a more "objective" standpoint I can admit it's not a perfect album and has some problems. But it has this sort of personal resonance with me that I haven't been able to shake all year - I kept coming back to it and feeling more of a connection to it each time. I won't bore anyone with my reasoning as to why it struck such a chord with me this year but at the end of the day, my list reflects nothing but my own personal feelings/experiences/what have you. Others may feel as though there's more "deserving" albums to take the spot but I put the album so high on my list because that's just honestly how I felt 😊💙

Shouldn't apologise for liking what you like. My three top albums, and they were a long way clear of the rest for me too, are floating 19-21, and I struggle to identify with 6 of the top 10, but at the end of the day thats kinda irrelevant because all that matters is the enjoyment I take out of them, this is nothing more than a bit of fun!
