Tatsuro Yamashita (山下達郎) - Big Wave



Soundtrack to an obscure documentary on surfing. Side A with all Tatsuro originals, and with side B written by mostly Brian Wilson of Beach Boys fame. Truthfully, the whole record is very much Beach Boys revivalism with a city pop flair. All sung by Tatsuro in English. Found for ¥2800 in Shibuya (渋谷). Going to be reissued soon, for those interested!
