Tommy Tedesco was a great LA session guitarist and part of the Wrecking Crew who appeared on thousands of albums including many soundtracks like this and television music. His son did a great documentary about his life and other LA studio musicians called The Wrecking Crew.

That's so interesting, thanks. Halfway through the album, I picked up the sleeve to see who the guitarist was, as his playing is definitely a stand-out performance!
