Tenderlonious - The Piccolo - Tender Plays Tubby (Jazz Detective Records, 2020 First Limited Signed Pressing with Exclusive Art Print)

I'm currently reading the biography of Tubby Hayes by Simon Spiller (who is another great saxophonist) and decided to binge on some of his music. Starting with Tenderlonious' rendition of some of Tubby's compositions, where he also plays Tubbys piccolo (hence the title). This is a fantastic album which I really enjoy BUT its far too short at under 20mins. The deadwax is almost as big as the actual cut grooves!!
