Disciple - Love Letter Kill Shot (2019)
My second favorite Christian album of last year (sorry Skillet, yours was underwhelming). It's crazy that Disciple has lasted this long while still putting out consistently strong music. I've seen them 3 times now (and met them twice!) A really awesome band. So glad they joined Tooth & Nail for this record! Definitely heavier and more experimental than 2016's Long Live The Rebels

Close Lobsters - Post Neo Anti. I’m a subscriber to a not for profit record label in Glasgow, and this is their latest release. Apparently a big deal - a new album from a band that have been on the go for years, that I had never heard of. If you like your guitars to jingle and jangle then they are for you. Very British indie of a late 80’s early 90’s vintage.
Now on the latest Hot Snakes.

The Phantom Band - The Wants.
Criminally underrated. Should be mentioned in the same way Frightened Rabbit are. Unfortunately the kind of band who gets their equipment stolen multiple times in Europe, so I don’t know if they are still going.

This is a white whale of sorts. Nice original copies just don’t exist, or at least I’ve never found one. I was stoked when I saw MoFi was doing this one.
I have this on coaster as well. The coaster has no bass. At all. This sounds fantastic and better than I could have hoped for.
