Normally I don't love remix albums, but this one is surprisingly good!

I started putting a post-it note on the inner sleeve as a 45rpm reminder. Started this after I played through all four sides of an obscure metal album before I figured out I was on wrong speed. No vocals. Thought it was death metal so just kind of slow.

I grabbed the indie exclusive. It's spotty, some songs are clean and some aren't. I keep having a feeling I need to replace the needle, but then a bunch of albums sound perfect after a rough one.

I didn’t research it hugely tbh. This is actually a Japanese first press that I added to one of my baskets when I was buying a pile of used records from recordcity.jp
It does sound fantastic but like most of this type and age of album clean OGs are always going to sound great.
