How on earth is this album 25 years old?! It still sounds great, especially with Sixth Avenue Heartache w Adam Duritz singing some harmonies.

Johnny Dankworth, His Orchestra And Guests - What The Dickens! (Fontana, 1963 First Pressing)
A strange one as im not always a fan of big band, but the line-up is just an insane who's who of British jazz of the era - Tubby Hayes, Ronnie Scott, Ronnie Ross, Dick Morrisey, Jimmy Deuchar.... Also came with a scrap of paper signed by Dankworth and Cleo Laine (who doesnt actually appear on the album) which is nice.

There’s spot during “Mediterranean Sundance” where the audience just goes apeshit with delight. It gives me chills every time.
