[There isn't an 'Audio Software' discussion forum, so I'm posting this here.]
I was cleaning a batch of records today, working through a pile that had been mounting of late. One of the records was a new Simon & Garfunkel Bookends album. And as I picked this thing up to take out the record, I'm looking at it and wondering 'When the hell did I buy this?' and even more of a mystery, 'Why the hell did I buy this?' And of course the answer lies, always, within N&G. Obviously, in some thread somewhere, someone must have mentioned this pressing, a few others must have validated a claim of it being a good one, and, apparently, I decided to pull the trigger. So I'm thinking, wouldn't it be great if there was an N&G app that let you tie your record purchases (at the time you make them) to posts within a thread on N&G that motivated you to make those purchases? Ideally, this would sync with discogs to populate a field headed WTF? Then, when the record arrives and the questions arise....to the app! I'm just sayin'.
