Every time I see Pussy Cats there I just scratch my head. Totally more famous for being made on an epic bender with Lennon than any of the music on it. Plus it’s not like he didn’t have several other actually essential albums!

Not to labour the point but even on the cover they were totally subtle putting letter blocks D and S either side of the rug

Totally agree with our Joe, Pussy Cats is not essential Nilsson. I find it mildly depressing in fact, as it symbolises a great artist destroying his god given gift, through a drunken screaming competition. You can romanticise his coughing up blood on the microphone, but he was never able to sing to the same level again.
