if you signed up with the 60 dollar discount price do you stay on it until you cancel.. because it says its going to reup to that price next after spiritualized

Reddit folks said they got charged full price when they auto re-upped the last time they did this deal.

So I rejoined for the last discount, and I though perhaps I had snuck into some type of deal when it renewed and they only charged me $54, but the next day they came back for the difference.
 
I’m not opposed to a country sub. Plenty of great stuff. Steve Earle, John Prine, George Jones, Tammy, Gram, Dolly, Lucinda Williams, Emmylou Harris, Terry Allen, Guy Clark, Townes, Dwight Yoakam, Carter Family, Roseanne Cash, Carlene Carter, Willie, Waylon, Johnny and Kris. You could fit in some Jerry Lee, Orbison, Wanda Jackson and Elvis in there. Hell even country albums by Elvis Costello, Nick Lowe, Neil Young, John Doe, Jonathan Richman. It could have great stuff in it. It’s a broad umbrella but with the right curation it could work really well. Now who’s curating it again?

That complaint will happen alot for this sub but the quality will be worth it. I bought 3 copies of coal miners daughter until getting a decent one that VMPs still blew away.

I got Tanya Tucker’s Debut Delta Dawn for $4 at my local. That girl can sing (and I mean girl she was 13 when it was recorded).

Yeah, I have found if you go to local record stores they typically have genres they specialize in and genres they don’t care about at all. Like my local is super into classic rock and will charge like. $30 for a beat copy of Rumours but if you look through their used Jazz and Country you can find some killer deals as long as your not looking for the biggest artists.

I signed up for the old $54 deal for 3 months and my account was saying I'd renew at that price, so I held onto it to see if it would grandfather me into another deal, but when it renewed, it switched automatically to the normal 3 month price and I was charged $84. I e-mailed requesting to cancel and refund and cited the fact that my account said it would renew at $54 and Pauly responded and handled it all immediately and I received the paypal refund within just a few hours.

I waited a few days and then decided to sign back up for 3 months with the $60 deal.

So, while you don't automatically get the same deal renewed automatically, you can cancel and sign up again if they have another deal when this 3 month deal ends. I'm fine paying $18-20 for a VMP record each month, but $27 isn't worth it for me at this point for what they're offering. If there's no new deal when this one ends, I'll just cancel again, unless the next three essentials are announced to be the Prince of Egypt Soundtrack, BT - Movement in Still Life (US tracklisting), and Radiohead - Com Lag EP.
