Yeah it it looks like the cover photo was taken while she was in an awkward period with her hair. The 80s were a rough time for many.

Well this is fucking awesome and not quite what I was expecting.

Easily the most pleasant first listen of the project so far. Right up my alley. Like some awesome alternative universe where Kamari Washington worked with Miles Davis. It’s like post bop spiritual jazz with a hint of African jazz. I dug it. I especially like the batshit panning of just the drums through out. Incredible listening experience.

Damn this is good. I have heard a few of his albums but not familiar at all with this one. Very good. I will definitely track down a vinyl copy.
