Actually I was incorrect. I was going to buy those but actually ordered these because a lot of websites seemed to have them listed as the best inexpensive option.

Are these shielded? I'm not seeing that mentioned anywhere.

The Q&A seems inconclusive if they're actually shielded but people are saying they did reduce noise. I guess I'll find out this evening.

Well, Shielded or not the hum is gone! Looks like the new cables did the trick.

That's awesome! There aren't many things quite as satisfying as the silence that accompanies a solution to the hum. Glad you got it sorted.
