Something I do on Instagram is post our dinner listening and wine we have (on nights we drink wine). I’m just as passionate about great wine as I am great music. Hope others post in here and share their “pairings”
Peter Lauer “Senior” Fab 6 Ayler Riesling & Hex Enduction Hour by The Fall
This Riesling is vinified dry from 70 year old vines and is as fresh as anything you want. Considered the middle level wine from Lauer who ignores the entire German Pradikat (Kabinett, Spatlese, Auslese). Their top wines are single vineyard wines and this one is no different, just one of slightly less esteem than their top bottlings. The album is arguably the best. One by The Fall, and one which calls back to the great German band Can throughout. Both of these things are a bit outside the box and ask a bit from you, but at the end of the day prove to be entirely accessible.
