Record stores

Going to Pittsburgh next weekend for two Pearl Jam shows. Though I've been to the city 5 times, I've never had the opportunity to shop for records. We'll be there for 4 days, so I'll finally have the chance to do some digging. Someone in a PJ group posted about Attic Records which looks great! Any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

ooh I didn't know this thread existed. Here's the stores I frequently shop at in Edmonton:

Listen Records & Blackbyrd Myoozik are my go-to spots for new records, Listen specifically for the new Colemine/Daptone releases. The owner usually sets a copy aside for me when they arrive.

Freecloud Records is great for both new & used but a bit further away from me than Listen or Blackbyrd so I don't go there as often.

Record Collector's Paradise has a LOT of great used records/cassettes/CDs/etc, but I usually only go to them as a last resort bcuz of their higher prices (and because of all these stores, they're the most out of the way for me).

Curmudgeon is a newer place, just down the street from Blackbyrd. They have a good used selection but not as much as RCP (with about the same pricing too).

I live in the middle of nowhere, NJ. My two fave places are Princeton Record Exchange and a newer store called Blue Raven in Frenchtown. Blue Raven is slightly higher priced but I'm actually closer to it. Went there instead of PREX for RSD and didn't have to show up at 4am to get most of what I wanted. Ever since Vintage Vinyl shut down, PREX has picked up the overflow, and you need to get there super early for releases that they only have a few copies of.

A bit further away in Easton, PA is Spin Me Round. They order SO much for RSD. I've never gone for RSD open, but after a few hours, they still had a lot in stock. Also, slightly higher priced than PREX, but worth visiting.

Would recommend Jerry's. It's a trip to say the least. I haven't been in several years but I imagine it's the same.
