Rufus doing Perfect Day is an inspired choice, some of the others are .... what. Honestly Lou's one of the few songwriters/groups -- like the Dead and Dylan -- who IMO deserve those multi-album covers albums. That Day of the Dead 5CD set (and the Dylan one a few years before it) were so good, and the variety and interpretations were so enjoyable. I'd love to hear something like that for Uncle Lou's music.

I enjoy his music. I tried to get tickets to see him in Asheville, and the cheapest tickets in the balcony area were almost $400. This wasn’t even resale price, it was what the promoter was charging. Safe to say I won’t be going.
