Just realizing that this gem has had a few mentions over in Country / Alt-Country / Roots / Americana, but no formal introduction here.

Dean Johnson, who sings high harmony with the Sons of Rainier in Seattle, recently released his first solo record Nothing for Me, Please – which is roughly 13 years in the making. I won't bore you with all the details, but it's one of the best things I've heard in a long time.

The "My Trusty Horse Blue" variant has about 60 or so copies remaining (out of 1000).

Don't sleep on this one friends.

Evidently it’s divisive. When it was here earlier this year seemed like some hated it and some loved it pointing out other bad covers in the same style.
