The Philadelphia Flyers fired general manager Chuck Fletcher after four-plus seasons at the helm, sources told The Philadelphia Inquirer's Giana Han and Olivia Reiner.

Daniel Briere will take over the position on an interim basis. The former Flyers forward was named special assistant to the GM last February.
