Ha, good reason. The 2xLP reissue is excellent so go ahead and buy it anyway! I can't actually vouch for the newer pressings but the cut is the same and my Rainbo (I know) pressing is pretty great.

I'd have to go through the clues in detail, but it oddly fits a lot of stuff at first glance... lots of reference to "Police" plus there's a Chris Hadfield reference (close name).
Or else it's a Police album and this is just a circuitous way of getting there.

"Regatta de Blanc" is the Police album from 1979 which would go with the Disco Demolition Night clue.
