Day 12: FOMO buy you haven’t spun in awhile
I'm not a FOMO guy in the classical sense. Numbered edition, color variant, special packaging - 99% of the time it's a money grabbing ruse. Just give me a flat, black record that sounds spectacular. I'm in it for the music. And with that said, FOMO situations I've experienced revolve around original pressings.
As documented in another thread - Complete collections. - I'm a completist when it comes to a few artists and, for better (music) or worse (wallet), one of them is Neil Young.
This EP was officially released on vinyl only in Australia in 1989. Subsequently 6 or so unofficial vinyl copies popped up. Drug my feet for a few years and when I tried to find one I could never run across an official copy. When I finally saw one at a decent price I jumped.
Haven't listened in a while. It's great loud Neil.
